Introduction

Hello, my name is Brice, this is the first game I am actually releasing to public... among thousands others I never finished... you know the story 😜

I'm an indie dev, and during my spare time, I'm trying to make games my kids like to play with. And PhotoShootR is one of them. This is a classical "find hidden objects" game but I tried to innovate a little bit in the way it's played (more arcade oriented, more dynamic, with bigger environments).

Oh yes, and I have to say this game has proudly be made using Linux! Yeah, I thought it's rare enough to be mentioned, don't you think? 🐧💪

This game is kids friendly, so do not hesitate to let your children play.

How to play

There is an entry in the game to learn how to play. But in a few words:

> Desktops

• Look around: hold left mouse button
• Take a photo: click left mouse button
• Zoom in/out: mouse scroll (hold Shift or Ctrl to zoom faster)
• Change hotspot: click right mouse button

And you have some button shortcuts here and there to help you.

Pitch of the game

Put yourself in the shoes of a photographer whose goal is to find and take the best pictures possible of targets in the immensity of varied worlds, such as a city, a pirate island or science fiction environment. You’re gonna have to be fast and accurate!

The goal of this game is simple: locate the targets - as quickly as possible - and make your most beautiful shots of them! Note that your speed and the quality of the shots are both taken into account to count your points. Depending on the level of complexity, and the game mode, you have a limited number of attempts.

Targets can be fixed or moving. Beware of the similarity between some of them. Coins are hidden here and there, collecting them will increase your score. And if you have the time and the energy, try to find the hidden objects to get even more points.

Three game modes are implemented: campaign (progress), random (quick game) and custom (select your world and the difficulty).

New worlds and new targets will be added in the future updates (currently: three worlds, several hundreds of targets).
